A short notice for a short list. We set only the cookies waxTable needs to work — and nothing that follows you around the web. Here's exactly what's in the jar.
Most sites bury a hundred trackers behind a consent wall. waxTable doesn't. Because we set only essential cookies, there's no banner to click through — and nothing to feel uneasy about.
Essential cookies
We set a small number of cookies that are required for waxTable to function — for example, the token that keeps you signed in and the preference that remembers your language. These can't be disabled and don't require consent, because the product simply won't work without them.
The cookies we set
The complete register — no asterisks, no hidden third parties:

Analytics & telemetry
On the marketing site, we collect aggregated, anonymised usage analytics to understand which pages are useful — never tied to an individual.
Inside the authenticated app, we collect operational telemetry — errors and latencies — to keep waxTable reliable. This never includes your document content.
What we don't do
- We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
- We don't sell or share your browsing data.
- We don't run cross-site tracking pixels.
Controlling cookies
Because we only set essential cookies, there's nothing to opt out of for the product to work — but you're always in control of your browser:
- Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings.
- Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop parts of the app from working.
- We honour your browser's “Do Not Track” signal for optional analytics.
Changes to this notice
If we ever change what we set, we'll update this page and its last updated date before the change takes effect. Material changes will be called out in the Privacy policy too.
