A closer look at Claymorphism

Claymorphism treats the page like something you could press a thumbnail into. Every panel is puffed up and rounded, lit from one side and shadowed on the other, so a proposal in this style reads as a tray of soft, squeezable objects rather than flat print.

Colour comes in bright, candy-shop hues, the kind of palette that looks good enough to eat, set against thick rounded corners and a paired inner highlight and outer shadow that gives every block real volume. The sans typeface stays rounded and friendly too, never sharp enough to puncture the mood.

A detail from the Claymorphism example

It belongs to brands built on warmth rather than gravitas: children's products, consumer apps, education, anything wanting the proposal to feel approachable before it feels authoritative. Reach for it when the message is come and play, not take this seriously, or when a dry process needs disarming before anyone will read it.

The clever part in a proposal is depth without photography. Every card, tag and callout gets its own inflated presence purely through highlight and shadow, so a page of otherwise plain figures or terms ends up feeling handled and cheerful rather than dry.

This particular proposal is a sample built to show the technique. Ask Waxe for your own proposal and it inflates the same puffy geometry around your brand's actual palette, wordmark and copy, then hands you a finished file, squish and all, ready to send.
