Pay for the work Waxe does
waxTable bills for what Waxe actually does on your behalf. Your plan includes a pool of credits, and each task deducts credits for the AI work it uses — the more work a generation or edit takes, the more credits it draws.
We meter the real work rather than charging a flat fee per document. That keeps the cost of a task tied to its size: a quick edit barely moves your balance, while a full multi-section generation with detailed pricing draws more.
A typical document costs around 40 credits — a few minutes of work that would take a person one to two days by hand.
What a credit covers
Credits cover the AI work Waxe performs for you. The headline tasks are generation and revision, but the same balance covers the smaller AI actions throughout a document's life.
- Generating a new document — planning structure, pricing the work, drafting copy and composing the on-brand design.
- Redrafting a section or starting a fresh take when the first one isn't right.
- Surgical edits where Waxe proposes a change you preview, then accept or reject.
- AI actions you trigger from the slash palette inside the editor.
What doesn't cost extra
Plenty of everyday actions are part of your plan and never draw from your credit balance.
- Per-document fees — generating deducts credits for the AI work, not a flat document charge.
- A task that fails — if a generation errors out or doesn't complete, you're not charged for it.
- Reviewing, approving and sending a finished document.
- Exporting or downloading a PDF of work you've already generated.
Free plan, signup bonus and referral credits
Your first workspace starts on Free with 100 credits: a one-time 40-credit signup bonus and 60 monthly credits. Free has no end date. Additional workspaces receive 60 monthly credits without another signup bonus.
- The 40-credit signup bonus never expires. Free also includes 60 credits each month, which expire at the monthly reset and do not roll over.
- Referral credits are added when a business you refer signs up.
- Signup bonus and referral credits never expire. Monthly credits are spent first, so your permanent credits remain available until needed.
