Tables, images & media

Add and adjust tables, pricing rows, images and logos inside a document — on the real page, so they sit exactly where they'll print.

Inserting tables and media

Type "/" anywhere in the document and choose what to add. Whatever you insert lands where your cursor is and immediately takes on the document's design.

  • Table — for structured rows and columns, including pricing.
  • Image — photos, diagrams, screenshots or other artwork.
  • Logo and brand marks — pulled from your branding so they're already on-brand.

Working with tables

Tables hold anything that reads better as rows and columns — deliverables, timelines, specifications. Edit a cell by clicking into it and typing.

  1. Insert the table

Use "/" and choose Table, then type into the cells.

  2. Add or remove rows and columns

Grow the table as your content needs, or trim it back.

  3. Let it flow

If a long table runs past the page, content continues onto the next page automatically.

Pricing tables that add up

Pricing is where service documents earn their keep. In a proposal or invoice, Waxe drafts the line items and totals for the job, and you can adjust them on the page.

  • Edit a line item's description, quantity or amount by typing into the cell.
  • Add a line for extra scope, or remove one that doesn't apply.
  • Keep the document and the price in step as the deal changes.

Images and logos

Images make a portfolio, pitch deck or proposal land. Add your own, position them in the flow of the document, and resize them to fit the page.

  • Add an image where you want it and resize it to suit the layout.
  • Your logo comes from your branding, with light and dark versions handled for you — see Logos: light & dark.
  • Keep images sharp by using a high-resolution source where you can.

Keeping it tidy

A few habits keep tables and media looking professional on the page.

  • Don't overload a single table — split long content across sections where it helps.
  • Let large tables and images flow across pages rather than forcing them to fit.
  • Use page breaks only when you genuinely need a clean start.

Frequently asked questions

Can Waxe build a pricing table for me?

Yes. For a proposal or invoice Waxe drafts the line items and totals for the job as part of the document. You then adjust them on the page if needed.

What happens if a table is longer than one page?

It continues onto the next page automatically — you don't have to split it by hand. See Pagination & page breaks.

How do I change my logo in a document?

Your logo comes from your branding, so update it once there and documents use it. See Logos: light & dark.

Why does my image look soft?

It's likely a low-resolution source. Replace it with a larger original — the page will render whatever you give it at the size you set.

Can I recolour a table to match my brand?

Table styling follows your design direction and brand setup so it stays consistent. To change the look overall, adjust your brand — see Brand colours & fonts.
