The real cost

The proposal you write after hours is the most expensive thing you sell.

It is drafted by your most expensive person, at the end of a day they have already sold, for a deal they will probably lose. And it is unbillable either way.

How it works

Three steps, and only one of them is yours.

You describe the job the way you would describe it to a colleague. Everything downstream is Waxe's problem.

  1. Brief it however you already work

Forward the client's email, send a WhatsApp voice note, drop in a call transcript, or type three lines. Waxe reads the mess and asks only what it genuinely needs.

  2. Waxe writes, prices and designs

Scope and copy, totals calculated from your own products and services, and a bespoke layout built on your brand — not a template with your logo dropped in.

  3. Send, watch, sign

Share a tracked link, see when it is opened and how far they read, then collect a signature. The whole deal lives in one project.

Three printed document spreads in three different design languages — austere minimal, deep luxury with gold, and bold geometric colour blocks

No templates

Your document should not look like everyone else's document.

Template tools give every one of their customers the same fifteen frames. Your prospect has seen them. Waxe designs each document around the content it actually holds — which is why two waxTable proposals rarely look alike.

  • Reads your brand, not a presetPoint Waxe at your website and it lifts your palette, typography and logo, then builds a design system around them.
  • Does the pricing mathsLine items, quantities and totals come from your own products and services catalogue — so the numbers are yours, not invented.
  • Remembers how you workCorrections you make once are applied to the next document of that type, in that project. It compounds instead of resetting.

Where it sits

Four ways to make a proposal. Only one of them finishes the job.

Honest version: each of these is genuinely better than waxTable at something. Here is what each actually gives you.

How the four routes to a finished proposal actually differ. Pricing is compared separately on the pay-per-document page.

After the yes

The proposal is where it starts, not where it stops.

Everything a won deal needs next is one instruction away, and it already knows the scope, the prices and the client.

  • Scope of work

Turn the agreed proposal into a delivery scope with phases, milestones and exclusions spelled out.

  • Contract & NDA

Draft the agreement around the same terms, then send it for signature without re-keying a single figure.

  • Invoice & purchase order

Bill against the scope you actually agreed, with your numbering and your brand.

    Not a tax-clearance system
  • Pipeline & tracking

Draft, sent, opened, signed — one board per project, with read-depth analytics on every share link.

Questions people ask before they start

Short answers. If yours is not here, the help centre goes deeper.

What is AI proposal software?

AI proposal software turns a description of a job into a finished, sendable proposal. waxTable goes further than the writing: the agent Waxe also prices the work from your own catalogue and art-directs the layout on your brand, so what comes back is a document you can send, not a draft you have to format.

How is this different from asking a general-purpose AI chatbot to write a proposal?

A chatbot returns text. waxTable returns a finished document — designed on your brand, priced from your catalogue, with a share link that tracks opens and read depth, and e-signature built in. The writing is the easy part; everything after it is the work.

Do I have to pick a template?

No. There is no template gallery. Waxe reads your brand — colours, type, logo, tone — and art-directs each document from scratch around the content it actually contains, so two proposals of different lengths do not end up in the same rigid frame.

Can I edit what it produces?

Yes, completely. Every document opens in a collaborative editor where you can type directly, restructure sections, or ask Waxe for a surgical change in plain language — for example, drop the third phase and reprice.

How much does a finished document cost?

Plans are metered in credits, not seats. Basic is $8 a month for roughly 6–10 documents, Pro is $23 for roughly 34–58, and Business is $60 for roughly 120–200 — or $5, $15 and $40 paid annually. On the annual Business plan that works out to well under a dollar per finished document.

What happens to my credits if I cancel?

Monthly credits expire and renew each month without rolling over. Free includes 60 monthly credits plus a one-time 40-credit signup bonus that never expires — 100 credits on signup, no card required. Free PDF exports include waxTable.com on every page; paid plans add Word, PowerPoint and PDFs without this branding.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your documents, brand assets and client details are used to produce your work and nothing else. Full detail is on the security and data-processing pages.

Which documents can it produce besides proposals?

Scopes of work, contracts, NDAs, invoices, purchase orders, receipts, pitch decks, portfolios, requirements documents and change requests — all carrying the same project context, so nothing gets re-keyed as a deal moves forward.
