Language and locale, briefly
Two related settings shape how waxTable reads to you. Language is the words the interface uses — menus, buttons and labels. Locale is the regional convention for formatting — how dates are written, how numbers are grouped, and which currency symbol and format appear.
They often go together, but not always. You might prefer an English interface while still wanting dates and currency formatted for India or the Gulf. Setting both means waxTable feels native to where and how you work.

What your locale changes
Regional formats make figures and dates instantly readable for your part of the world. The same underlying value is simply presented in the convention you've chosen.

Interface settings vs your documents
Your language and locale control how the waxTable interface appears to you. They're separate from the content of the documents you produce — the words and figures in a proposal, invoice or contract are what you and Waxe put there.

- Document language is the language you brief Waxe in and write the content in.
- Document figures — prices, totals, dates — are part of the document you review and edit.
If you want a document drafted in a particular language or with specific number and currency conventions, say so when you brief Waxe, and check the result in the editor before sending.
