Downgrade to a smaller plan
If a plan gives you more credits or seats than you use, moving to a smaller tier is straightforward. A downgrade keeps your workspace, projects and documents — it only changes your included credits and capacity going forward.
Open billing settings
Go to the billing area of your workspace.
Choose a smaller plan
Compare included credits and seats in Plans & what's included.
Confirm the change
Your billing settings show when the new plan takes effect — typically at the start of your next cycle.
What happens to unused credits
Your plan credits belong to a billing cycle and refresh at the next reset. When you downgrade, the credits included from then on match the smaller plan.
- Plan credits follow the cycle and reset to the new plan's amount at renewal; unused plan credits don't roll over.
- Signup bonus and referral credits are separate: they never expire and stay available across plan changes. Free’s 60 monthly credits expire at each reset, just like paid monthly credits.
- How any remaining credits are treated on a plan change is shown in billing settings.
Cancel your plan
You can cancel from billing settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access generally continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, as shown in your settings.
Your documents and workspace data remain yours. If you need to take your work with you, see Data export and erasure.

If you believe a charge should be refunded — for example a renewal you didn't intend, or a problem on your account — get in touch and we'll look into it.
