You can't sign in
Most sign-in failures come down to a mistyped email, a forgotten password, or a session that's gone stale. Work through these before assuming something's broken.
Check the email address
Make sure you're using the exact address your account was created or invited under — a typo or an alias is a common cause.
Reset your password
Use the password-reset link on the sign-in screen. You'll get an email with a link to set a new one.
Clear a stale session
Sign out fully, or open a private window, then sign in again. This clears an expired session that's blocking you.
Try another browser
If a supported browser still won't let you in, rule out an extension or cached state by trying a different one — see Browser support & requirements.
The reset email hasn't arrived
A reset email usually lands within a few minutes. If it doesn't, the cause is almost always delivery rather than the account itself.
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm you requested the reset for the right email address.
- Wait a few minutes and request it again rather than repeatedly.
- Ask your IT team whether mail from our domain is being filtered.
Multi-factor authentication problems
If you've turned on multi-factor authentication and your code isn't accepted, the usual culprit is the clock on your authenticator device or a code that's already expired.
- Wait for a fresh code rather than reusing one that's about to expire.
- Check that your phone's time is set to update automatically — a clock that's drifted makes codes fail.
- Use a backup recovery code if you've saved one and can't reach your authenticator.
Invitation and team-access problems
If you were invited to a workspace and can't get in, the invite is usually tied to a specific email or simply hasn't been accepted yet.
Use the invited address
Accept the invite while signed in with the exact email it was sent to, not a different account.
Ask the admin to resend
A workspace admin can resend an invite that expired or went to the wrong address.
Check your role
If you can sign in but can't see or do something you expect, it may be a permissions matter rather than access — see Permissions.
Admins can manage who's in the workspace from Team members and roles.
When to ask us
Reach out promptly for anything touching account access — these aren't things to keep retrying. We verify identity before changing access, which protects your account.
- You're locked out of MFA with no recovery code.
- You no longer have access to the email on the account.
- You suspect someone else has accessed your account.
