Approvals & sending

Once a document is right, this is where it goes out into the world — routed for internal sign-off, delivered from your own domain, and tracked so you know when it lands and gets read.

What you'll find here

Drafting and editing happen in the page editor; sending is the last mile. This category covers the steps between a finished draft and a client reading it: getting the right internal eyes on it, delivering it as you rather than as us, and watching what happens next.

Where to start

If a colleague needs to bless work before it leaves, set up an approval ladder first. If you mostly send solo, jump straight to sending from your domain, then turn on read tracking so you know when to follow up.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use approvals to send a document?

No. Internal sign-off is optional. Turn it on when more than one person should review work before it leaves, and skip it when you're sending on your own.

Is sending free, or does it use credits?

Sending and tracking a finished document don't deduct credits the way generating one does. See how credits work for what counts as billable Waxe work.

Can I send a PDF instead of a tracked link?

Yes. You can export and download a PDF to attach yourself, though you lose open and read tracking when you send the file by hand.

Who can approve and send in my workspace?

That depends on the roles you've assigned. See team members and roles and permissions.

Still need a hand?

Waxe answers most questions right inside the app. For everything else, our team replies within one business day.
